Media Report: Starting Pay from NT$35K — Pick the Right Company and Lead the Pack

Join the right company and a fresh graduate’s starting salary can lead the pack!

Join the right company and a fresh graduate’s starting salary can lead the pack. Founded over 40 years ago, Shin Wu Machinery is expanding its intake of fresh graduates, recruiting after-sales service engineers — university degree preferred, no experience required — with pay starting at NT$35,100.

In business 43 years, rooted in three fields
True to its founding goals, Shin Wu has spent 43 years importing advanced automated production equipment across three fields: precision mold making, precision sheet metal, and PCB manufacturing.

Hiring service engineers, finance and administrative staff
To bring new blood into the industry, Shinbu hires fresh graduates boldly: service engineers from mechanical programs (degree preferred) start at NT$35,100 with no experience required; finance and administrative roles also start at NT$35,100, business majors preferred.

Experienced engineers welcome
With the pandemic hitting every industry and some peers facing layoffs or unpaid leave, Shinbu also welcomes experienced service engineers with open arms — university degree or above.
Shinbu’s Taiwan locations include the Taipei head office and the Taichung and Tainan service centers; the new Shengang plant in Taichung begins operating early next year.

Benefits that beat the market
Beyond market-leading starting pay: commuting subsidies, regular health checks, birthday gifts and group insurance. Engineers who can work independently receive family and housing allowances after marriage, plus childcare allowances until each child turns 18 — together worth nearly NT$10,000 a month.
